Alpaca fleece is the natural fiber obtained from an alpaca, and is the same in structure to the wool fiber from sheep.
Its softness comes from the small diameter of the fiber, very similar to merino wool, this is a soft, durable, luxurious and silky natural fiber.
Wool made out of alpaca fibers does not fluff easily, and may also be light or heavy in weight, depending on how it’s spun.
